My approach to therapy is to create a warm and trusting environment where both the client and therapist feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings without judgment or fear. The relationship between the therapist and client is the primary venue for change and must be regarded as the top priority. My goal is not to tell you what to think, what to feel or how to behave, but to allow you to identify and forge your own path in life. I begin every clinical relationship with a thorough assessment and interview so that I may fully understand who you are and how best to assist you on your path. I use resources guided by evidence-based practice to provide the best care. It is my job to be present, to listen and to ask questions that help you achieve your goals and live an authentic life.
